CERTIFICATION

In cooperation with the Slovenian Institute “INSTITUTE FOR WELDING” from Ljubljana,
we provide certification services (attestation) of welders and welding processes as well
as the introduction of EN1090 and EN 3834 standards
CERTIFICATION OF WELDERS
The “Welding Institute” has been conducting the certification (attestation) of welders for
more than 60 years, as the leading certification body in this field. Welders with Institute
certificates have found work around the world.

We certify welders according to the following standards:
EN ISO 9606
EN ISO 14732
EN ISO 13585
EN 14730-2
EN 13067

The certification test can be taken in the premises of “TIPO-KOTLOGRADNJA” in
Prijedor, with ours or with your welding equipment. You can also apply for the
certification of welders to be performed on-site, in your parent company, under the
supervision of our staff.
In addition to the practical test of knowledge, there is also a theoretical test of
knowledge in the form of a written exam. This is primarily a requirement for dedicated
industrial areas, and most EU countries require such users.
Testing samples are tested in the certified laboratory “TIPO-KOTLOGRADNJA”
Prijedor.
Additional certification of welders is possible to acquire for the following areas:
AD 2000-Merkblatt HP3: 2014
Technical regulation for testing welders for the production of pressure vessels or parts
of pressure vessels.
PED 68/2014 / EU
Directive on Pressure Equipment.

CERTIFICATION OF THE COMPANY ACCORDING TO EN 1090 AND EN 3834

EN 1090

For construction products, which also include parts of metal structures, a conformity assessment procedure is required. Every product that enters the market or is installed in a plant must be accompanied by a declaration of performance confirming that the product meets the requirements set out in the technical specifications.

For metal parts, a conformity assessment system marked 2+ is used, considering that the manufacturer has an internal drive control system and that he determines the type of product. The task of the designated body is to verify the internal control of the facility and to maintain regular inspections.

A manufacturer wishing to supply parts of metal structures to the European market must first obtain a certificate of conformity for factory production control from a notified body. The “Welding Institute d.o.o. (LLC)” is a designated body.

EN 3834

In the production of metal products (e.g. steel structures, pressure equipment, machines, elevators, bridges, transport vehicles, etc.), welding is usually an irreplaceable way of joining individual parts in their production, assembly and maintenance.

Welding and related activities must be performed to the extent that a certain quality is achieved, so the task of achieving an appropriate ratio between quality and associated costs is a challenge.

It is practically impossible to control the quality of an individual welding activity every time, so it is much more appropriate to establish a system in the company that continuously achieves the required quality.

By meeting certain requirements from the EN ISO 3834 standard, all this can be achieved, and by independent certification, the company can prove it externally. This undoubtedly increases customer confidence and brings the organization a competitive advantage in several areas. Savings in production and warranty periods eliminates the need for external audits for supplier purposes, reduces the scope of complaints, the effect of advertising, etc…

It is important to emphasize that, based on the international standard, this is a globally expanded and recognized system that provides business opportunities in domestic and foreign markets around the world.

HOW TO OBTAIN THE CERTIFICATE Details of obtaining a certificate, that confirms compliance with the requirements of one of the above parts of the standard, are described in more detail in the certification plan. The conditions for applying for certification, conducting the necessary assessments, regular supervision of certification, reference to the awarded certificate and much more are determined.
