NON-DESTRUCTION TEST (NDT)

In 2000, the Laboratory for Material Testing with a Non-Destructive method (NDT) was
established.
Non-destructive testing is a set of methods based on the principles of physics for the
purpose of determining the properties of materials or system components, and detecting
various types of errors (defects), without affecting the functionality of the material being

tested (test material remains undamaged). The main purpose of non-destructive testing
is to determine the quality and compliance of the base material and welded joints with
the requirements of technical specifications and standards. Tests are mostly performed
in the field. Pressure equipment, pipelines, load – bearing structures, semi – finished
products and industrial products are tested.
Employees working on NDT testing tasks are certified in accordance with the EN ISO
9712 standard.
For field work, we have a mobile laboratory with a darkroom and all the necessary
equipment for work.
We offer consulting services in the development of control plans, selection of
appropriate testing methods and eligibility criteria.
We provide supervision services of on-site testing.

We are qualified for services and supervision of testing of materials and welded joints
by the following NDT methods:
VT (visual testing),
PT (penetrant testing),
MT (magnetic particle testing),
RT (radiographic testing),
UT (ultrasound testing),
UTT (ultrasound testing of material thickness of Al, Fe, INOX, PVC…),
LT (vacuum testing, pressure testing, impermeability test).
